60's inspired makeup ~ think Twiggy and Edie Sedgwick

So it will be new year in a few hours, but let just save that for the next blog post.

suddenly last night I got the urge to do a makeup how to blog post. I don't know how and why but I suddenly look into the 60's look. When you talk about the 60's look, the major icon we look up to is Twiggy and Edie Sedgwick. In 60's, focus are the eyes, so we see a black line drawn into the crease, thick brows and thick mascara especially on the bottom.

"update: Ok I messed this makeup a bit, so I did an updated blogpost on this makeup , check it"

note: these pics *of Twiggy and Edie I downloaded from the internet for a while so I can't remember which site exactly it is taken from to credit them, if anyone want to credit, you can contact me nur_farhana26@yahoo.com

Brick Red stained lips - Favourite look for now

For the Brick Red Stained Lips I'm loving right now, I achieve it using with the mixture of the Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Sienna #055 and the Revlon Matte in Really Red #006. I have tried this combination before actually but I did not wear it often,
however lately I started to love it and wear this look more often.

the whole look - it looks more casual in real life
stain of classic neutral red is a must!

Review: Chanel Mat Lumiere - Unexpected experience and uncertain future~~

MAT LUMIÈRE - LONG LASTING LUMINOUS MATTE FLUID MAKEUP SPF 15

CHANEL Mat Lumiere
Long Lasting Luminous Matte Fluid Makeup
SPF 15 30ml
Ok, I am usually not attracted to high end foundation and if I thought about buying an expensive high-end Foundation (GBP 20.00 and over) I would think of MAC first.
As people might know I am an avid follower of the PIXIWOO sisters on youtube and they really the Chanel Foundations and their tutorials always feature Pro Lumiere or the VitaLumiere. But I wasn't attracted because I believe Chanel never really thought of people with darker and deeper skintone (MAC NC35 and above), so I don't think they got my shade. But then one day I came a cross youtubers giving review about Chanel foundation and they have darker and deeper skintone so then I check out the makeupalley for bulk reviews and actually the Chanel foundation do have darker shade especially the Lumiere line. But then when I check again the darker shade is available in US. In UK, it is different. The darkest shade is 60 or Hale'.

When I come to the Chanel counter the sales assistant of course recommend me the darkest shade which is this one. But to my finding I think it is quite light on me, but actually after a while it kind of blend into my skintone which is great. And to be honest I actually prefer my foundation to be a bit lighter than my real skintone,
*maybe because it is an asian thing, I want to look fairer*
In the end I only took a small bottle sample which the counter generously offer.

Shade in 60 I would say like MAC NC30-35 but I'm not sure because of it's undertone, it appear like warm undertone and blend into my warm skintone, so it is warm I guess.
